I grew up surrounded by the african bushveld, a place I endlessly explored as a child. Every animal pathway was an adventure and every tree a playground; all sparking a child-like wonder that still lives within me today. This curiosity is what fuels my passion to create unique, story-rich art that invites people to connect deeply with worlds that make them question whether they’re memory or imagination.
I live on a farm in a rural area where I have been learning how to grow plants since childhood. I have my own hobby garden with many herbs and a rose collection of about 20 different varieties. I also managed to grow a lotus from seed that is three years old now. At some point I would like to begin doing silent form videos of all the ambience as I tackle many of the various projects. The farm used to be a cattle/tabacco area. There are many structures that need to be repaired and concepts to be implemented. I have yet to figure out how to film or what project to start with that could be interesting for people to see, maybe you could suggest something?
